Constitution

Adoption of the Constitution:  The association and its property will be administered and managed in accordance with this constitution.

The Name: The association's name is Kirkham & Wesham Business Group (KWBG)

The Objectives: The Business Group's objectives are to benefit the towns of Kirkham and Wesham by highlighting the profile of the towns in a positive way; to stimulate existing and to attract new business; to attract visitors and broaden the customer-base for as many businesses as possible.

Membership: All businesses of any nature in both towns are eligible for membership on payment of a small annual susbscription (£25 in 2007) to cover Group administration costs.

Decisions: Decisions will usually be made on the basis of a simple majority vote by members present at the time of discussion.

The next meeting of the K&WBG will take place at 7pm, 27 March 2008 at a local venue (tbc). Local businesses are most welcome to attend.
