Freckleton Half Marathon Profile

The Freckleton Half Marathon is the oldest half marathon in the UK, and there is only one older half marathon in the world (in Luxembourg).

The Mens Half Marathon started in 1964 and the Womens in 1976. In 2005 the first Fun Run was also held.

Online entry for the 2009 race is now open at http://www.ukresults.net/onlineforms/php/Applicant.php?EventID=88 and we would actively encourage people to enter online please. The entry form can also be downloaded from <here>.

I hope we will see you again at the 2009 race, when we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ron Hill MBE setting the event record.
