Frankie & Robbie Profile
"When Frankie Met Robbie" a unique show, with the songs of Frank Sinatra, Robbie Williams and more recent international stars. Las Vegas meets Stoke on Trent in a musical extravaganza. You will know the tunes, you will know the words and you will be humming the melodies.
The music is powerful as Mel "Frankie" Peake and James "Robbie" Reynolds, belt out a selection of songs spanning three generations, and along with homage to the humour of the Rat Pack, this is a show with a difference not to be missed. Although Mel doesn’t consider himself a Frank Sinatra tribute, more an impressionist, James spent two years in Spain as a Robbie Williams tribute after three very successful years with Butlins, two of those as their show teams leading man.
The Take That member wasn't even a twinkle in his dad's eye when Frank ruled the roost, he did cut a successful swing album and fill the Albert Hall with his swing show in 2001, and topped the charts in a duet with Nicole Kidman on the Sinatra standard Something Stupid, Mel and James version of this brings the house down!
“When Frankie Met Robbie” is ideal for cabaret nights, hotels, theatres and corporate functions. The show is suitable for medium and large venues alike and is fully self contained either with quality backing tracks, and a state of the art PA system and light show, or with the Marcus Reynolds Big Swing Band.
