Local Fylde Club's Big Challenge

This Saturday is a big day for local team Kirkham & Wesham FC. The club needs to win the away game against Coventry Sphinx to reach the FA Vase Semi-Final.

KIRKHAM & WESHAM will host the first-leg of the FA Vase Semi-Final at home to Needham Market on Saturday March 22 should they return triumphant from Coventry Sphinx at the weekend after the Sixth Round Replay.

Kirkham hope to succeed, although as manager Mick Fuller admits, it won’t be easy. “We’ll have a plan at Coventry on Saturday and while l would have preferred the second leg of the semi-final to have been at home l’m not thinking that far ahead. Saturday is the focus and after that things will take care of themselves.”
