Future Generations 2010 “tomorrows workforce, inspired today”

“If you are a Blackpool, Fylde or Wyre business decision-maker, looking to drive your business forward in 2010, this event is not to be missed!”

Beneast Training Limited together with an impressive range of Public and Private sector partners are to launch a major new Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde–wide initiative to local business decision-makers drawn from the major employment sectors throughout the area. The business conference takes place next Tuesday, 2nd February at the luxury De Vere Herons' Reach Hotel in Blackpool.

The initiative aims to support and promote local business and improve the local job market by the launch of an innovative employment challenge to assist local businesses and provide increased employment opportunities for all.

The proceedings commence with a Welcome Registration and “Meet and Greet” opportunity followed by a three-course lunch. The formal presentation of Future Generations 2010 is timed to commence after the meal. Sir Geoff Hurst MBE, the football legend, scorer of the hat-trick in the 1966 World Cup final is one of the many high-profile speakers who will share their “apprenticeship” and business experiences with you.

Over 150 business guests are being invited to attend via the event partners and it is expected that demand for tickets will exceed supply.

Future Generations 2010 is timed to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week and is being attended by senior members of the National Apprenticeship Service together with an influential list of business support organisations.

Alison Hall, Executive Director of Beneast added: “Everyday we read stories regarding the lack of employment opportunities for 16-24yrs nationally, whilst we can’t attempt to tackle the national problem we can make a real difference locally. This major initiative supported by many local organisations in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre is a way for all of us in our locality to increase opportunities for those seeking a career and training and to assist local businesses to develop their future talent.  We 're all aware of families with sons, daughters, brothers and sisters struggling to find work. Future Generations is about creating opportunities today, for our workforce of tomorrow.”

If you run a business within the Fylde and would like to attend the event please contact the Future Generations office at Beneast Training on 01253 756400 - hurry tickets are strictly limited.
