Champagne corks will be popping as the Kirkham & Wesham Football Club team make their way home after a tremendous win against Needham Market today.

The final score was Needham Market 0 KWFC 1

It is understood that over 150 local fans travelled to the away game to cheer on their club. The team travelled on Friday in the England Team coach visiting Barnsley FC enroute for an afternoon training session. Granada TVs film crew recorded various elements of the lead up to the big game and a report is expected to appear on the Monday programme.
