Civic Reception Planned

Win or lose, the towns of Kirkham & Wesham are planning a big 'Welcome Home' for their local football club.

Plans are afoot to hold a civic reception for the Kirkham and Wesham FC team following their fantastic rise through the league this year and their prestigious appearance at the FA Vase Cup Final at Wembley.

Following the big final against rivals Lowestoft Town on Sunday 11 May, a civic reception in the centre of Kirkham will be the final destination for the towns sporting heroes. An open bus tour is being planned through the streets of Wesham and Kirkham late afternoon on Monday 12 May to allow everyone to join in the celebration.

KIRKHAM & WESHAM FC have reacted quickly to fans clamoring for news about Wembley tickets ahead of their FA Vase Final in London on Sunday May 11 against Lowestoft Town.

Fans can buy match tickets and book coach tickets from the club shop on Poulton Street in Kirkham Town Centre from Saturday April 12.

Tickets for the game are: Adults - £20, OAPS/Children £10, while the Official Club Travel by coach is: Adults £25 and Children £20.

Coaches will depart Market Square, Kirkham at approximately 7.30am to travel south, but further up-dates on departure times will be advised nearer the big day.

The club Shop is open on Saturdays from 9am-5.30pm, and on Tuesday-Fridays from 11am-5.30pm. The shop is closed on Mondays. Payment is by cash or credit card.
