Blackpool Football Club Reach Top League
Newly promoted side Blackpool will get life in the Premier League under way at home to Wigan on August 14.
In their first appearance in top-flight league since 1971, Ian Holloway's side will then be thrown in at the deep-end with a second week visit to Arsenal.
After hosting Fulham a week later they will meet fellow promoted side Newcastle in September followed by an away trip to Chelsea and a home tie against Blackburn.
Things do not stand to get any easier for the club, the following month they travel to Liverpool on October 2 before hosting Manchester City a fortnight later.
They will meet the last of the top four sides in early December with home ties against Manchester United and Tottenham.
They begin the new year with a trip to Eastlands before closing their season across the city of Manchester at Old Trafford on May 22.
In reaction to their fixtures Blackpool Manager, Ian Holloway said: "It is nice to kick off with a home game and with Wigan up the road it will be nice for us. It will be a new experience for all of us going to the Emirates.
"Hopefully all the butterflies will be out of the way and we can see what we can do against Arsenal."
