Its fantastic news that Kirkham Pool is the remain open. The YMCA are to take over the running of Kirkham Pool, supported by Rural Splash, the community group formed to fight the proposed closure.

Despite a two year subsidy from FBC, The Pool needs your support! To secure its future Rural Splash have to help raise the number of swimmers and generate additional monies.

Rural Splash are to begin fundraising this weekend.

Members of the group will be in Market Square at 10am on Saturday 28th March.  Come along and find out what you can do to support the Pool.  You are also invite to join a celebratory walk from the Market Square to the Swimming Pool.
